Valencia is a bustling city, and few tourists opt for a car hire at the airport. The sunny Mediterranean climate is perfect for walking about or bicycle riding. Tourists staying at Valencia hotels will find that the city offers a very efficient public transport network including a metro system as well as buses. There is a bright orange double-decker bus offering tour that provide a good overall view of the city.
While Valencia is an up-and-coming tourist destination, the city cannot compete with cities such as Rome and Paris where cheap hotels in Rome and cheap hotels in Paris continue to remain very popular. Anyone who is looking to get away from the hordes of tourists in Rome and Paris however, will certainly enjoy staying in Valencia. The fact that there is a sunny beach just a few kilometers from the city centre doesn’t hurt either.
